Store the schedule where the lighting is controlled
Baztech contributed to a badminton court-lighting application using an IRIV-based local controller, Python scripts and a local database. While online, the application downloads court-lighting schedules and stores them locally. The controller can then execute the stored schedule when the internet connection is unavailable.
This work focuses on lighting management and scheduling. The described scope does not include booking-system or payment integration. Defining those boundaries helps a facility operator understand what is provided and what would require an additional integration scope.
Local control and remote connectivity have different roles
This is the same court deployment discussed in the Teltonika RUT901 page. The RUT901 supports connectivity and remote status monitoring, while the IRIV application handles the described local schedule. The installation also includes the manual lighting bypass discussed in that page.
For an enquiry, provide the court count, schedule source, required switching behaviour and local operating arrangements.
Questions about this integration
Does the controller need to download the schedule first?
Yes. The described offline operation uses schedules previously downloaded into the local database.
Can booking integration be added?
It would be a new requirement to assess, including the booking system’s interface and how schedule changes should be handled. It is not claimed as part of the existing deployment.
