Connecting switching functions to a dosing application
Baztech’s dosing integration work includes KinCony F8 relay outputs used for pump and solenoid-valve functions. The controller is connected with custom EC and pH measurement electronics related to our Atlas Scientific board work.
In the described application, solenoid valves control the liquid supplied to a Netafim venturi dosing arrangement. The useful integration task is to bring the measurement and switching requirements into one application, with switching behaviour defined around the installation.
Start with the loads and operating requirements
For a new enquiry, identify the pump and valve models, electrical requirements, required switching behaviour and relationship to the measured process values. The suitability of the output interface must be assessed against the actual load; the existence of an onboard relay does not establish suitability for every motor or valve.
Baztech can discuss device configuration, custom electronics, installation and maintenance within the agreed application scope.
Questions about this integration
Can an F8 be used with a separate EC and pH board?
The described work combines these functions. The interfaces and required control behaviour need to be assessed for a new board and application.
Can the control design be reused for another dosing application?
The photos illustrate the integration work. Valve selection, wiring and dosing sequences must be designed for the new application.
